When is the best time to visit Spain & Portugal?
The weather is mild in Spring (March to May) and Autumn (September to November), and there are less crowds and better prices. Many travelers like the shoulder season (April, May, September and October).
The peak season is summer (June to August) with glorious beach days and warmer ocean waters, but also bigger crowds and higher prices.
In winter (November to March) you'll escape the crowds and enjoy lower prices. However some attractions may be closed or have shorter opening hours. The winter temperatures tend to be mild in the sunny south of both countries.
