DAY 1: ARRIVE SIEM REAP
Welcome to Cambodia. Siem Reap is a tourist friendly town that still retains its old small-town colonial charm. Upon arrival into Siem Reap, you’ll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel.
This evening, enjoy an Apsara Dance performance which is the Khmer royal court dance. The dancers are dressed in glittering silk and sequined Khmer clothing, and dance with graceful movements and intricate hand gestures. Enjoy a buffet served with traditional Cambodian and international cuisine.

DAY 2: ANGKOR THOM AND MORE
Today, we see an astonishing profusion of ancient monuments in both size and number. Not to mention the intricate artistry of an idealized representation of the Hindu cosmos carved in stone.
Start at the “Great City” of Angkor Thom, with 54 towers each decorated with 4 huge mysterious smiling faces. Let’s wander through the extensive grounds including the grand South Gate, Bayon Temple, Bapoun, Terrace of the Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King.
Visit the jungle-smothered ruins of Ta Prohm, one of the most evocative of all Angkor’s ancient monuments. It is half-consumed by the encroaching forest. This was a movie filming location for Lara Croft: Tomb Raider.
A short drive away is Banteay Srei, a 10th-century Cambodian rose-pink sandstone temple. It is the most elaborately decorated of all Angkor’s monuments.
Hike up Phnom Bakheng Temple complex for a spectacular sunset view of Angkor Wat.

DAY 3: ANGKOR WAT AND FLOATING VILLAGE
Experience the magical moment of Angkor Wat sunrise (arrive at least 30 minutes before sunrise).
Visit Angkor Wat, this iconic temple complex is considered the heart of Cambodia. It is crowned with five soaring towers and embellished with intricate sculptures and carvings.
Visit Banteay Kdei (Citadel of Chambers). Tall trees cast shade over a fascinating maze of chambers that are a delight to explore (if time allows).
Explore Preah Khan, an endless labyrinth of rectangular courtyards and dark aisles (if time allows).
Take an interesting boat trip on Southeast Asia’s largest freshwater lake, Tonlé Sap Lake, to observe life on the water. Visit the fascinating lakeside floating village of Kampong Phluk with floating houses and houses on stilts.

DAY 4: SIEM REAP | END OF TOUR
After breakfast, the tour comes to an end. Transfer to Siem Reap Angkor International Airport (SAI) for your flight home to the USA, Canada or your next destination.
