Itinerary
DAY 1: ARRIVE DELHI (DEL)
Upon arriving at Delhi airport, you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free.
*Hotel check-in time is generally 3 pm or later. If your flight arrives in the early morning (e.g. midnight or 7 am) we suggest you add a pre-tour hotel night during booking for a well-deserved rest before starting your tour.
2 Nights in Delhi
DAY 2: DELHI | OLD AND NEW CAPITAL CITY TOUR
Delhi is the capital of modern India. It has also been the capital of at least seven previous civilizations as well as the British Raj, and each have left behind a trail of monuments.
Delhi City Tour (8 hours @9am). With your local guide, explore the beautiful chaos of Old Delhi and New Delhi, including Jama Masjid – India’s oldest and largest mosque. Experience a busy and bustling local bazaar on a cycle rickshaw through Chandni Chowk. Next is Qutab Minar – the world’s tallest brick tower, Humayun’s Tomb of the Mughal Emperor, India Gate, Parliament Street and Rashtrapati Bhavan (President’s Residence). Visit the most prominent Sikh temple, Bangla Saheb Gurudwara.

DAY 3: DELHI – AGRA | MOONLIGHT GARDEN
After breakfast we drive to Agra (4 hours @9am), the erstwhile capital of the Mughal Empire.
Watch a breathtaking fully symmetrical sunset view of the Taj Mahal from across the river at Mehtab Bagh (Moonlight Garden). (4 hours @ 3pm)

DAY 4: AGRA | THE LEGENDARY TAJ MAHAL, AGRA FORT
After breakfast accompany your local guide to visit the legendary Taj Mahal breakfast (8 hours @8am). It was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in loving memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz who tragically died in childbirth in 1631. Then breakfast.
Visit Agra Fort (Red Fort), a 16th-century Mughal fortress which also contains the imperial city of the Mughal rulers. It offers splendid views across the river towards the Taj Mahal.
Visit Itmad-ud-daulah, nicknamed the Baby Taj. Light penetrates to the interior of this Mughal mausoleum through delicate jali screens of intricately carved white marble.

DAY 5: AGRA – JAIPUR | FATEHPUR SIKRI (CITY OF VICTORY)
After breakfast, drive to Jaipur. (4 hours @9am).
En route we visit the ghostly historic Mughal capital of Fatehpur Sikri (City of Victory) which has been deserted for over four centuries (5 hours @1pm). Thanks to the very durable red sandstone from which it was built, Fatehpur Sikri remains well-preserved and is a fascinating place to explore.

DAY 6: JAIPUR | THE PINK CITY OF JAIPUR
Jaipur City Tour (8 hours @9am). With your local guide, visit the stunning 16th century Amber Fort perched on a hillside overlooking the dusty plains, regal palaces, sleepy villages, and stone carved temples below. Reaching its summit on a jeep (or request an elephant ride during reservation) we enjoy a tour of the fort’s well-preserved interior grounds including Sheesh Mahal (Palace of Mirrors) with its interior embellished of reflective glass tiles.
Visit the City Palace in Jaipur, an imposing blend of traditional Rajput and Mughal architecture. Jantar Mantar is an ancient open-air astronomical observatory and a UNESCO world heritage site. Photo op at Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds) where its high screen walls allowed women of the royal household to observe street life without being seen.

DAY 7: JAIPUR – KATHMANDU
After breakfast, hotel check-out and transfer to Jaipur airport for your flight to Kathmandu (transit in Delhi airport).

DAY 8: KATHMANDU | MOUNT EVEREST SCENIC FLIGHT, KATHMANDU CITY TOUR
Kathmandu City Tour (6 hours @5am). Take off on your Mount Everest scenic flight this morning for a close encounter with the famous peak in the Himalaya Mountain range.
Continue with your guided tour to visit Kathmandu Durbar Square. Visit Swayambhunath Temple Complex which consists of a stupa and a variety of shrines and temples, some dating back to the Licchavi period (400 to 750 AD). Swayambhu is probably the most sacred among Buddhist pilgrimage sites.
Then, we’ll spend the rest of the guided excursion checking out the famous Boudhanath Stupa, the largest spherical stupa (akin to a mausoleum) in the world with a massive mandala.
End of the evening with a special Nepalese dinner with cultural dance performance.

DAY 9: KATHMANDU – CHITWAN
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Chitwan National Park including airport to jungle lodge transfer. When the evening comes, enjoy your first overnight stay in the wildlife lodge.
Note: This return domestic flight is not included.

DAY 10: CHITWAN | JUNGLE ACTIVITIES
An early start today to explore the national park on a jungle jeep safari. (4 hours @6am). You’ll get to see the diverse multitude of flora and fauna. Visit the habitats of the Bengal Tiger, One-horned Rhinoceros, Wild Elephant, and Crocodile, to name a few.
You will also have the opportunity to do a jungle walk and visit an elephant breeding center. Plenty of wildlife adventures to go around!

DAY 11: CHITWAN – KATHMANDU
Leave the jungle and transfer to the airport for your flight back to Kathmandu and onward flight home.
