. 3 Nights in Kathmandu
DAY 1: ARRIVE AT KATHMANDU (KTM)
Upon arriving at Kathmandu airport, you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free.

DAY 2: KATHMANDU & PATAN DURBAR SQUARE TOUR
Today, we start by diving right into the culture of Kathmandu Valley. We will visit some of the more popular tourist attractions in the area, which includes Nepal’s most sought out UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Today’s guided tour includes Kathmandu Dubar Square’s Kumari Ghar (House of the Living Goddess), Hanuman Dhoka Palace (Old Royal Palace), Kal Brairab Shrine, Taleju Temple, Swayambhunath Stupa and Patan Durbar Square (Patan Royal Square). (8 hours @9am).
Swayambhunath is probably the most sacred among Buddhist pilgrimage sites.

DAY 3: BHAKTAPUR DURBAR SQUARE & TEMPLE TOUR
Today’s guided tour includes Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Lion’s Gate, Nyatpola Temple, Bhairab Temple and Dattatreya Temple. (8 hours @9am).
The famous Boudhanath Stupa has the largest spherical stupa in the world and a massive mandala. A stupa is akin to a mausoleum.

DAY 4: KATHMANDU – CHITWAN
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Chitwan National Park (airfare not included). Then airport to jungle lodge transfer. When the evening comes, enjoy your first overnight stay in the wildlife lodge.

DAY 5: CHITWAN JUNGLE SAFARI
We start the day early to explore the national park on a jungle jeep safari. You’ll get to see the diverse multitude of flora and fauna. Visit the habitats of the Bengal Tiger, One-horned Rhinoceros, Wild Elephant, and Crocodile, to name a few. (Self-Guided Jungle Safari on a shared jungle jeep with driver. 4 hours @6am).
You will also have the opportunity to do a jungle walk on your own during the free time. There are plenty of wildlife adventures to go around!

DAY 6: THARU VILLAGE CULTURAL WALING TOUR
Today we have a cultural walking tour of a Tharu Village (4 hours @9am).
The Tharu people are an indigenous ethnic group. On this tour, you can observe the daily life of the Tharu community. See the traditional Tharu houses (made of mud and thatch), agricultural techniques and handicrafts.

. 2 Nights in Pokhara
DAY 7: CHITWAN – POKHARA
Transfer to the airport for your short flight to Pokhara (airfare not included), the second largest city in Nepal. This lakeside town stretches along the shore of a tranquil lake with bobbing paddle boats and a clear view of the snow-capped mountains.

DAY 8: POKHARA CITY TOUR
Early this morning, we drive to Sarangkot to enjoy a panoramic view of the majestic Himalayas. Visit the ancient BindhyaBasani Temple atop a small hill in Old Pokhara, then Seti Gorge, the Bazaar and Devi’s Fall. We will enjoy a relaxing one-hour boat ride on Phewa Lake – for a serene look into one of 200 lakes in Nepal that have their origins in a glacier. (8 hours @ 6am)

DAY 9: POKHARA – KATHMANDU
Today, transfer to the airport for your flight to Kathmandu (airfare not included). We spend another evening in Kathmandu.
