DAY 1: TAIPEI
Arrive at Taipei Airport and transfer to your hotel. Taipei is the vibrant capital city of Taiwan. It blends modernity with tradition, offering towering skyscrapers like Taipei 101, rich cultural heritage in its temples and museums, and an unforgettable street food experience in its bustling night markets.
During your Taipei City Tour, we explore:
Dadaocheng: Start by getting to grips with Taipei’s history in the historic neighborhood of Dadaocheng. This 19th century trading port offers a rich blend of culture and fantastic heritage architecture with eateries serving local Taiwanese cuisine and aromatic spice shops.
Stop at the Chiang Kai Shek Memorial: a grand white marble structure with a blue-tiled octagonal roof that honors the former president of the Republic of China (Taiwan).
Ascending Taipei 101 Building: the bamboo-inspired skyscraper that is amongst the tallest in the world.

DAY 2: NATIONAL PALACE MUSEUM, YANGMINGSHAN NATIONAL PARK
Today we visit the National Palace Museum: Home to nearly 700,000 pieces of ancient Chinese imperial artifacts and artworks. See best collection of Chinese antiquities in the world (closed on Mondays).
Yangmingshan National Park: In the afternoon we zip up to Yangmingshan National Park on the edge of Taipei. This dormant volcano features volcanic landscape with fabulous scenic views, wonderful walking trails with seasonal flowers and the option to soak in one of the top-notch hot spring resorts.

DAY 3: NORTHEAST COAST WITH JIUFEN & SHEFEN
Head through the mountains to Taiwan’s wild and rugged stretch of northeast coastline with jagged mountains and breathtaking views over the Pacific Ocean.
Visit the former gold mining town of Jiufen with its hilltop teahouses, well-preserved buildings and narrow, winding streets and endless snack stalls.
Stop at Shifen with its historic railway station.
Follow a local tradition, you have the chance to write your wishes the famous “sky lantern” and release it into the sky, creating a magical and unforgettable experience.

DAY 4: END OF TOUR
Check-out after breakfast and transfer to Taipei Airport (TPE) for your flight home to the USA or Canada.
