JUL 28 DAY 1: ARRIVE CARIO
Arrive at Cairo Airport and transfer to your hotel (15 minutes drive). The rest of the day is free.

After breakfast we tour the Pyramids of Giza and Memphis (8 hours in the morning).
‣ Giza Plateau: Explore the legendary Great Pyramids (Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos)—with Cheops standing as the sole remaining Wonder of the Ancient World—and see the iconic Sphinx guarding the complex.
‣ Memphis: Visit Egypt’s ancient capital to tour the open-air museum, featuring the colossal statue of Ramesses II and the Alabaster Sphinx.

JUL 30 DAY 3: CAIRO – ASWAN – NILE CRUISE | PHILAE TEMPLE TOUR
Check-out and transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Aswan in the morning. (1.5 hour flight, 30 minutes from Aswan airport to the cruise harbor).
Arrive at Aswan Airport. Transfer to the Nile Cruise. Lunch on board.
Embark on a guided tour of Philae Temple (UNESCO World Heritage site) (group). Arrive by boat to this island-based temple, renowned for its stunning architecture and intricate carvings. The temple was rescued from rising Nile waters in the 1970s.

JUL 31 DAY 4: NILE CUISUE: EDFU TEMPLE AND KOM OMBO
After breakfast we enjoy the Edfu Kom Ombo tour (group, 4 hours). Visit the Temple of Edfu, then back to the boat to enjoy the serenity of sailing the river Nile from Edfu to Kom Ombo. In the afternoon we visit Kom Ombo Temple – uniquely honoring two gods: Sobek (crocodile) and Horus (falcon). Return to the boat, relax and enjoy serene views as the cruise sails the Nile towards Aswan.

AUG 1 DAY 5: NILE CUISUE: EAST BANK TOUR

In the afternoon we visit Kom Ombo Temple – uniquely honoring two gods: Sobek (crocodile) and Horus (falcon). Return to the boat, relax and enjoy serene views as the cruise sails the Nile towards Aswan. Dinner and overnight on the boat.

Gather on our deluxe river ship’s deck in Luxor – the absolute heart of the path of totality – to experience a breathtaking 6 minutes and 23 seconds of complete daytime darkness. Sip refreshments, wear provided safety viewing glasses, and watch the sun’s corona blaze over ancient Egyptian landscapes.
