DAY 1: ARRIVE MARRAKESH
Upon arriving at Marrakesh airport (RAK), you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel in Marrakesh. (1.5 hour drive).
The rest of the day is free.
Marrakesh is well known for its vibrant Jemaa el-Fnaa square, which transforms from a sprawling marketplace by day into an enchanting open-air food festival at night. Beyond the square, don’t miss the stunning palaces like Bahia Palace, serene gardens such as Jardin Majorelle, and the city’s vibrant arts scene. It is also an imperial city.

DAY 2: MARRAKESH CITY TOUR
Breakfast in the hotel then enjoy the guided city tour of Marrakesh (8 hours @10am).
Start your day at Majorelle Garden, a vibrant botanical oasis. See Koutoubia Mosque (exterior only), then explore Bahia Palace, a 19th-century Moroccan architectural masterpiece. In the afternoon, dive into the lively souks. End your day at Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, experiencing Marrakesh’s vibrant street life and authentic flavors. See amazing street performances of traditional activities by storytellers, snake charmers and peddlers of traditional medicines. You’ll also have the opportunity to purchase authentic Moroccan argan oil, reputedly rich in nutrients and antioxidants, beneficial to skin and hair.

DAY 3: MARRAKESH – AIT BEN HADDOU – DADES
Breakfast in the hotel then depart Marrakesh through the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka Pass (7,415 feet). Visit Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its dramatic earthen architecture has been featured in films such as Gladiator and Game of Thrones.
Continue through the fragrant Valley of Roses to the dramatic Dades Valley, known for its winding roads and cliffside kasbahs.

🛏️ 1 NIGHT IN ERFOUD
DAY 4: DADES – TODGHA GORGES – ERFOUD
After breakfast, take a scenic drive through the winding Dades Gorge (8 hours in the morning), with opportunities to stop and photograph the stunning rock formations. Continue to the spectacular Todgha Gorge, a natural canyon with cliffs rising over 984 feet, ideal for a short walk along the river. Afterwards, pass through palm groves and oasis towns as you head east to Erfoud, a town known for its fossils and dates, and is a gateway to the Sahara Desert.

🛏️ 1 NIGHT IN MERZOUGA
DAY 5: ERFOUD – RISSANI – MERZOUGA
After breakfast, depart for Merzouga (8 hours in the morning). Visit Rissani, a historic trading center with a vibrant market and royal ties. Continue to Merzouga, the Sahara’s edge, for a 4WD desert excursion. Visit Khamlia for Gnawa music. Meet a nomadic family, explore fossil sites, and enjoy tea at an oasis. Return to Merzouga for a sunset camel ride into Erg Chebbi dunes. Arrive at a luxury desert camp for dinner, music, and Berber hospitality

🛏️ 1 NIGHT IN OUAZAZATE
DAY 6: MERZOUGA – ALNIF – TAZZARINE – OUAZAZATE
Rise early to watch the sunrise over the dunes, a magical moment in the stillness of the desert. After breakfast, travel through the desert towns of Alnif and Tazzarine (8 hours in the morning) crossing stone deserts, ancient routes, and rugged landscapes. In the late afternoon, arrive in Ouarzazate, the cinematic heart of Morocco. Known as the “Hollywood of Africa,” Ouarzazate is home to legendary film studios and historical kasbahs. If time permits, you can visit the Kasbah Taourirt, once the residence of a powerful Glaoui family and now a symbol of regional heritage.

DAY 7: OUARZAZATE – MARRAKESH – AGADIR
After breakfast, leave Ouarzazate and head to Marrakesh.
