Istanbul | Bosphorus Private Cruise, Evening Walking Tour

This morning, a half day cruise aboard a private boat. Sail between the continents of Asia and Europe as you make your way down the Bosphorus. Pass by old wooden mansions and posh marble palaces dotting Istanbul’s shoreline and look out for the majestic mosques of the Golden Horn with their ubiquitous minarets reaching up into the sky. Istanbul - Cappadocia | Fairy Chimneys & Moonscape

Transfer to the airport and fly to Cappadocia. The Rock Sites of Cappadocia are a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
After airport transfer, your first stop is Devrent Valley, where you walk among the animal looking natural rock formations. Next, head to Pasabaglari to explore the distinctive fairy chimneys that Cappadocia is known for. Then a short drive to Avanos. Avanos's artisan pottery is famous throughout Turkey and they crafted many of the blue tiles at The Blue Mosque in Istanbul. Continue to Uchisar Castle, the highest point in Cappadocia’s moonscape. Climb up to the castle to enjoy a breath-taking view of the surrounding valleys and Mt. Erciyes. Visit Pigeon Valley that is named for the many pigeon dovecotes carved into the rocks and cliffs when years ago the pigeons were used as message carriers.

This morning, enjoy a hot air balloon excursion over Cappadocia. A private transfer to the launch site where you'll join fellow adventure seekers. Your balloon glides over the sublime hills and valleys of Cappadocia giving a true sense of the region’s fairytale terrain.
Continue to Ortahisar, a natural citadel carved in rocks. Be amazed at the town’s charming stone houses that line its narrow streets and visit the natural fortress that has become an important landmark of the region. Take in the splendid views of the famous fairy chimneys and the majestic Mount Erciyes in the background. Continue your day with a visit to one of Cappadocia’s subterranean cities, Kaymakli or Derinkuyu. Descend into the underground labyrinth and learn the fascinating story of 7th century Christians who established these dwellings in an attempt to flee persecution. Next, transfer to Cavusin Valley for an opportunity to see the peculiar troglodyte settlements that were inhabited until the mid-20th century.
