Muscat | City Tour

Muscat has been an important ancient seaport since the 2nd century. During your city tour you will experience the influence of Persians, Portuguese and Ottomans in Muscat. Explore the city for an in-depth feel of the culture at: Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, Bait Al Baranda Museum, Royal Opera House, Mutrah Souq (the oldest market in Oman) and a photo op at Al Alam Palace.
In the late afternoon we enjoy a sunset cruise along the coastline of Muscat with a beautiful view of Mutrah Corniche.

Muscat - Nizwa| Nakhal Fort, Hot Springs, Traditional Village

After breakfast and hotel check out, we will explore the interior of Oman and one of the oldest settlements in this area, Nakhl and the impressive Nakhal Fort. The fort was built on a 60-meter high rock with many defensive features like spiked doors and cannonball deflecting round towers. Drive through the old part of Nakhl, where mud houses are surrounded by gardens, and reach Ain Thowarah, the hot springs system of Nahkl.
Experience an epic off-road drive across the mountains via Wadi Bani Awf. If time allows, enjoy a walk in the quaint mountain village of Bilad Sayt. Visit the 400-year old Al Hamra village to see the ruins and remains.

Nizwa - Wahiba Sands | Nizwa, Wadi Bani Khalid, Sand Dune Bashing, Desert Camp

Discover the old capital of Oman, Nizwa and witness the traditional culture that still drives today's modern society. At Nizwa Souq, the traditions never change. If it is Friday, watch the bartering at the Livestock Market.
Continue to the evergreen Wadi Bani Khalid, you can have a swim or just enjoy the oasis scenery. After that, enter the magical desert Sharqiyah Sands. A chance for sand dune bashing on a 4-wheel drive vehicle. Enjoy the sunset on top of the dunes and a traditional dinner at the desert camp.

Wahiba Sands – Muscat | Wadi Tiwi, Wadi Shab, Depart Muscat

Additional sightseeing is possible for guests with flights departing late enough in the day. The additional sightseeing is at Sur on the coast. Visit the dhow factory, where traditional wooden ships are made and the open-air Dhow museum. After leaving Sur we will drive alongside the coastline to Muscat. We will also have the opportunity to walk through Wadi Shab or to explore Wadi Tiwi (Wadi of Nine villages) by car. Just in time to reach to Muscat International Airport (MCT) for your flight home.
