DAY 1: ARRIVE EDINBURGH

Arrive at Edinburgh Airport and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free.

Start your Scottish cultural experience in this historic city that has two UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the medieval Old Town and the Georgian New Town.

DAY 2: EDINBURGH CITY TOUR

Today’s Edinburgh City Tour (group) explores Edinburgh New Town, Royal Botanical Gardens, Newhaven Harbour, the Royal Yacht Britannia, The Shore in Leith, Stockbridge, the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art, and Edinburgh Castle.

DAY 3: EDINBURGH – INVERNESS, INVERNESS WALKING TOUR

Take the train from Edinburgh to Inverness (10:30 AM – 14:15 PM).

Inverness is the gateway to the Scottish Highlands, the stunning region of Scotland that offers breathtaking landscapes and ancient sites.  It is just 20 minutes to famous Loch Ness, home of the legendary monster Nessie and many historic castles.

The Inverness City Daily Walking Tour visits several attractions (1 hour @5:30pm).

Discover Inverness through the eyes of a local. See how Inverness developed, its history, folklore, and highland culture.

DAY 4: ISLE OF SKYE AND EILEAN DONAN CASTLE TOUR

Today we discover the Isle of Skye and Eilean Donan Castle (12 hours @8am).

Visit the Isle of Skye, including its capital Portree, Lealt Falls, and the Old Man of Storr. See Loch Ness from Invermoriston, Loch Carron, and Eilean Donan Castle.

Follow the shores of Loch Ness to Invermoriston, where you will stop for a short break. Grab a coffee, take scenic photos, and try to spot Nessie!

Continue to Eilean Donan Castle, one of Scotland’s most photographed castles, set on its own island at the head of Loch Duich.

If you like, you can enter the castle and learn about its history (entrance fee not included). Or just admire the picturesque castle and its scenic surroundings.

Next we journey to the Isle of Skye. Portree is a small colorful town fringed by cliffs and rolling hills.

Enjoy lunch and the views of the pretty harbor.

Head to the Old Man of Storr which is an iconic rock formation. Take a walk at Lealt Falls to admire the beautiful waterfall and gorge.

DAY 5: GLASGOW & CITY WAKING TOUR

Take the train to Glasgow and transfer to the hotel (9:40 AM – 1:15 PM).

Enjoy the Glasgow City Centre Walking Tour (1.5 hours @5 PM). See George Square, pass by the City Chambers, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow Cathedral, The Necropolis, St. Mungo at High Street and Gallery of Modern Art.

DAY 6: STIRLING CASTLE, LOCH LOMOND AND CRUISE

After breakfast we join the Stirling Castle, Loch Lomond and Cruise Day Tour (9 hours @9am).

Spot the magnificent Stirling Castle perched on a crag. This stronghold is known as the ‘Key to Scotland’, and has witnessed several battles that were turning points in Scottish history.

From Stirling you travel into the Highlands to an area known as the Trossachs National Park. This land is full of shimmering lochs, rugged mountain tops, and forest-filled glens. And it used to be a perfect place for outlaws like Rob Roy to hide.

Hear the tale of this fascinating folk hero and enjoy the magnificent nature all around you before proceeding to lunch in picturesque Aberfoyle (lunch at your own cost).

After lunch you continue the journey through the national park to the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond. Framed by majestic mountains and adorned with over 30 islands, this stunning loch has been celebrated in songs and poems for centuries. Join an optional hour-long cruise to admire the loch from a different angle and enjoy tales of local wildlife, folklore, and history.

DAY 7: END OF TOUR

After breakfast, transfer to Glasgow Airport (GLA) for your flight home to the USA or Canada.
