Arrive at Vienna Airport and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free.
Vienna, the capital of Austria, is a city rich in history, culture, and the arts. You will see the Gothic Cathedral and Schönbrunn Palace (a former imperial summer residence with stunning gardens and opulent rooms). Vienna was the home of great composers like Mozart, Beethoven, and Strauss. Don’t forget to relax in a Viennese coffee house, enjoy traditional Viennese coffee and pastries, and also sample Wiener Schnitzel and Sachertorte.

DAY 2: SCHÖNBRUNN PALACE & GARDENS, VIENNA CHRISTMAS MARKET TOUR
This morning you will join the Schönbrunn Palace & Gardens Tour (group, 4 hours in the morning).
Discover Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna with a licensed guide. Explore its royal gardens, learn about the Habsburg dynasty, Empress Sissi, and marvel at the Great Gallery and Hall of Ceremonies. On this tour you’ll skip long entrance lines and enjoy more time to explore the lush green gardens.

This evening, we join the Vienna City Walking Tour (2 hours in the evening with transfer). Explore Vienna’s history on a walking tour of landmarks, including Church of the Minorities, Michaelerplatz, Hofburg Palace, Heldenplatz, Spanish Riding School, Albertina Museum, Vienna State Opera and St. Stephen’s Cathedral.

🛏️. DAY 4: VIENNA – SALZBURG, SALZBURG WALKING TOUR
Take the train from Vienna to Salzburg (morning train about 3 hours, standard class included, round-trip transfer between hotel and train station included).
This afternoon, we join the Salzburg Walking Tour (group, 2 hours @2pm). Discover Salzburg’s unique history, rich culture, and fascinating sights, including: Mirabell Palace (Baroque Palace), Mirabellgarten (the famous geometric gardens where scenes from The Sound of Music were filmed), Mozart Geburtshaus (Mozart’s birthplace), Kollegienkirche (one of the finest Baroque churches), Salzburg Cathedral (showcases its Iconic dome and where Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was baptized), Residenzplatz (a plaza is famous for its massive Baroque fountain and horse-drawn carriages)
Salzburg was Mozart’s birthplace and its connection to the iconic movie “The Sound of Music”. The city has a historic fortress, a cathedral and a charming old town by the Salzach river. Taste Nockerl (a local dessert) and visit a beer garden.

DAY 5: HALLSTATT TOUR
After breakfast, we join the Hallstatt day trip (group, 8 hours in the morning). Explore Salzkammergut, a famous European resort town. Enjoy a lakeside walk, view unique houses, and visit the Bone House to learn about local customs.

DAY 6: SALZBURG ORIGINAL SOUND OF MUSIC TOUR
Today we join the Salzburg Original Sound of Music Tour (group, 4 hours in the afternoon).

Hellbrunn Palace Garden: the original glass gazebo where the iconic “16 Going on 17” scene was filmed.

DAY 7: SALZBURG – INNSBRUCK | TYROLEAN EVENING SHOW WITH DINNER

In the evening, we enjoy a Tyrolean Evening Show with Drinking and Dinner (group, 2 hours in the evening). Experience an evening of authentic Austrian culture! The Gundolf Family performs traditional Tyrolean dances, including the famous “shoe-slapping” dance, while singers showcase their impressive yodeling skills. Enjoy live folk music for a truly memorable show.
