DAY 1: ARRIVE BADAMI
Upon arriving at Hubli airport, you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel in Badami. The rest of the day is free.

DAY 2: BADAMI – HAMPI, BADAMI TEMPLE TOUR
Badami showcases ancient Indian rock-cut architecture with its stunning cave temples, offering a glimpse into the Chalukya dynasty’s artistic heritage, which would appeal to those with an interest in history and archeology.
With your local guide, Badami tour (4 hours @9am) including:
Aihole Temples: This is the cradle of stone temples with the Dravidan style of architecture. The oldest temple Lad Khan goes back to the 5th century AD. There are 100 temples. The interiors of the Durga Temple houses intricate stone carvings that are most inspiring.
Pattadakkal: Visit Pattadakal (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) to see the delicately chiseled sculptures and impressive carvings on pillars and ceilings.

After lunch, we drive to Hampi (4 hours @2pm).

Nagarhole National Park, including the Kanini area, provides exceptional wildlife viewing opportunities, including leopards, tiger, black panther, wild gaurs, elephant, peacock and wild birds.
Enjoy an afternoon jungle safari at Nagarhole National Park with a park naturalist on a shared boat (4 hours @3pm).

DAY 7: JUNGLE SAFARI, KABINI – MYSORE
Enjoy an early morning jungle safari with a park naturalist on a shared boat (4 hours @5am).

Mysore is one of South India’s most enchanting cities, famed for its glittering royal heritage and magnificent monuments and buildings. It is also famous for silk. The city is rich in tradition with a deeply atmospheric bazaar district with numerous spice shops and incense stalls.
Mysore’s grand palaces, rich cultural heritage, and vibrant festivals offer a captivating look into India’s royal history and rich culture.

DAY 8: MYSORE TOUR
