Cinnamon
Cinnamon anyone?
Cinnamon is a spice obtained from the inner bark of Cinnamomum trees. It is used widely, from savory dishes, baking goods to Greek cinnamon liqueur.
Cinnamon is native to India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Myanmar. This spice traveled westward to Egypt and then to Europe. During our South India tour you’ll get to visit a spice plantation and see an actual Cinnamomum tree.
Don’t forget you’ll also be tasting delicious cinnamon-spiced tea and various foods to sweeten your senses as the remaining of the tour unravels.
