DAY 1: ARRIVE LONDON

Arrive at Heathrow Airport and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free.

DAY 2: LONDON CITY BUS TOUR

Today, we take a bus tour to explore London’s top attractions. Visit Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, London Eye, Westminster Abbey, Downing Street, Trafalgar Square, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Hyde Park and the Houses of Parliament.

Note: Attraction admission tickets are not included.

DAY 3: LONDON PERSONALIZED EXCURSION DAY

Today, select one of the following options included in this tour.

OPTION 1: Dinner Cruise on the Thames River (3 hours @7:45pm)

Enjoy a 3-hour dinner cruise, including a pre-cruise glass of sparkling wine or soft drink, a delicious 4-course dinner, live performance and dancing till late.

OPTION 2: Afternoon Tea Bus with a Glass of Prosecco (1.5 hours @3pm/4pm/5pm)

A taste of afternoon tea with a twist on the delightful English Tea Bus. Ride aboard a traditional double-decker offering beautiful views of London, including the Coca-Cola London Eye, the Tower of London, and St. Paul’s Cathedral, all while indulging in a delicious mix of sweet and savory treats.

OPTION 3: 3-Hour Secret British Food Tour (3 hours @11:00am)

DAY 4: LONDON – OXFORD | OXFORD UNIVERSITY AND CITY TOUR

After breakfast we take the train to Oxford. Hotel and train station transfers are included.

Today we explore Oxford, the city of dreamy towers, on a walking tour with an experienced guide. Visit the city’s most famous sights, discover its hidden history and enjoy all the amazing stories of Oxford’s famous characters – real and imagined.

Visit the Martyrs’ Memorial, a site of terrible religious punishments in medieval times, and continue to Northgate’s oldest St Michael’s tower built in Saxon times.

Then head to the heart of the University and the inspiration behind Harry Potter’s Hogwarts school.

Pass the pubs where the Inklings used to meet to discuss their writings, as well as the pubs where the TV series Inspector Morse was filmed and the most popular student drinking doors in the old days.

Discover the city that is home to several of Britain’s most famous literary characters – fictional and real – such as JRR Tolkien and CS Lewis, Philip Pullman and Colin Dexter, as well as some of their most famous creations such as Lyra and Will, and Inspector Morse.

Admire Oxford’s stunning architecture, gargoyles and grotesques, so beautifully preserved from every historical period and style, and stroll through stunning Radcliffe Square.

Cross the quirky Bridge of Sighs, as it is fondly known, just like those in Venice and Cambridge.

See the Bodleian Libraries from the outside, in the lovely Old Schools Quadrangle.

Learn about the city’s famous museums, such as the History of Science Museum, which contains Einstein’s blackboard, the Pitt Rivers Museum which once housed shrunken heads, and the magnificent Ashmolean which was one of the world’s first museums.

DAY 5: OXFORD – STRATFORD-UPON-AVON | COTSWOLDS EXPERIENCE

After breakfast we take the train from Oxford to Stratford-upon-Avon. Hotel and train station transfers are included.

Enjoy your Cotswolds Experience. The Cotswolds is a region of rolling hills, wild meadows, ancient woodland, and charming villages with honey-colored stone cottages.

Visit the charming villages of the Cotswolds region. Explore Castle Combe, Stow-on-the-Wold, Bibury, and Bourton-on-the-Water (the so-called “Venice of the Cotswolds”). Visit Malmesbury Abbey, the burial site of Athelstan, England’s first king (time permitting).

DAY 6: STRATFORD-UPON-AVON CITY BUS TOUR

Today we offer you the convenient and flexible hop-on hop-off bus to explore Stratford-upon-Avon.

Travel to all of Shakespeare’s houses: Hathaway’s Cottage, Mary Arden’s House, New Place, Nash’s House and Hall’s Croft.

The Royal Shakespeare Theatre, where the bard’s plays are performed for most of the year.

Holy Trinity Church where Shakespeare is buried, protected by a cursed tombstone.

The old 15th century Grammar School where Shakespeare was educated.

You can also enjoy a wonderful tour of the picturesque Warwickshire countryside by visiting Wilmcote village, the home of Mary Arden (Shakespeare’s mother).

DAY 9: MANCHESTER CITY WALKING TOUR

Celebrate the history and cultural significance of Salford Quays on a family-friendly walking tour of Manchester. Start and finish at the spectacular Media City Square, visiting major attractions like the Lowry Center for the Arts and more along the way.
