Taipei - Sun Moon Lake

After breakfast, depart Taipei by road for Sun Moon Lake located in the middle of Taiwan island situated 2,454ft (762m) above sea level. Sun Moon Lake acquired its name because it comprises a round eastern section and a crescent western section, with a tiny island roughly in the middle. This largest body of fresh water in Taiwan is one of the island’s most lovely natural vistas. While boating is popular, hiking and biking allows you to get off the beaten path while staying on the tourist trail.
We visit the famous Wenwu Temple (Literature-Warrior Temple), Holy Monk Shrine and Tse-En Pagoda. Then, check-in at your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to enjoy the beautiful views and picturesque scenery that have captivated travelers from all over the world.

Taroko - Yilan

Full day sightseeing at Taroko National Park. Taroko Gorge is an exceptionally beautiful narrow ravine created by a river cutting deep into mountains of solid marble. A road carved into sheer walls of rock snakes its way past forested peaks and cliffs towering thousands of feet above it, while hundreds of feet below a river roars past gigantic marble boulders. Visit Evergreen Shrine, Swallow Grotto, Nine Turns of Tunnel (drive by), Marble Bridge and Tienshiang before proceeding to Yilan.

Yilan - Chiufen - Taipei | Northeast Coast, Jiufen Village

Morning at leisure to relax and enjoy the resort’s hot-springs for which the region is famous. This afternoon, drive to the Northeast Coast, visiting Pitou Cape and Nanya Rocks Formation followed by Jiufen Village. The villages of Jiufen were once centers of gold mining in Taiwan. The gold is gone but these quaint old villages of closely-packed houses clinging to steep mountainsides continue to offer enchanting scenery and fascinating glimpses into the lifestyles of the past. Continue to Taipei and check-in at your hotel.
