Taipei - Jiaosi | City Tour, Jiufen

After a hearty breakfast, meet your guide for a day of exploration. Visit National Palace Museum where 5,000 years of Chinese Imperial art and jade collections are exhibited and Martyrs’ Shrine. Brief photo stop at Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall and the Presidential Palace. Step back in time by visiting a historic gold mining town, Jiufen.
We end the day at Jiaosi for an overnight stay. Soak in the rejuvenating natural hot springs, a truly relaxing and rustic experience.

Jiaosi - Taroko National Park | Taroko Gorge

Enjoy a morning scenic drive to Taroko Gorge. Taroko Gorge is famous for its spectacular natural beauty comprising valleys, gorges, mountains, rapid rivers and waterfalls that never cease to amaze visitors. Transfer to your hotel in Taroko.
Half day sightseeing at Taroko National Park. Taroko Gorge is an exceptionally beautiful narrow ravine created by a river cutting deep into mountains of solid marble. A road carved into sheer walls of rock snakes its way past forested peaks and cliffs towering thousands of feet above it, while hundreds of feet below a river roars past gigantic marble boulders. Photo stop at the East-West Highway Arch, the starting point of Taroko National Park. Visit Evergreen Shrine and take a gentle hike to Swallow Grotto. Followed by Nine Turns of Tunnel (drive by) and Marble Bridge.

Taroko National Park – Chihpen | Fata'an Wetlands, East Rift Valley

Relax in the hotel this morning or explore Tiansiang on your own visiting attractions like Zhihui Bridge, Pudu Bridge, and Xiangde Temple.
Continue your journey to Chihpen. En-route we visit the Fata’an Wetlands ecological park to experience the rich heritage of Taiwan's aborigines. Enjoy an "Amis-style" lunch in a private home.
Next we visit Chihshang. You can bike and stroll through the lush green rice fields the East Rift Valley of Chihshang. Learn to make rice noodles by hand, a fun local tradition.
We continue to Chihpen for an overnight stay. Enjoy unwinding in your personal in-room hot springs at our hotel. Choose from several therapeutic spa facilities either indoor or open-air. Tainan | Tainan City Tour

Today we explore the culture and history of Tainan, Taiwan's first capital. Your city tour visits Tainan’s historical sites, including the Meteorology Museum, National Museum of Literature, Koxinga Shrine, Tainan Confucius Temple, and Hayashi Department Store.
At Ten-Drum Culture Village we enjoy the music, movement, and art. Transformed from a historic sugar refinery, you will see, hear, feel, and play the drum music of Taiwan. Explore the original Dutch settlements of Anping Fort (aka Fort Zeelandia). Take a photo stop at the amazing warship museum and hear the story behind the Deyang destroyer ("Guardian of the Sea") formerly of the US Navy.

Tainan – Sun Moon Lake | Lukang, Qingjing Farm

Today drive from Tainan to Sun Moon Lake. En-route we explore Lukang, an authentic historical trading town. Enjoy an electric tricycle tour of Lukang’s Old Streets. Visit Longshan Temple and Folk Arts Museum which houses a vast collection of ancient Ming and Qing dynasty artifacts.

Sun Moon Lake | Admire Sun Moon Lake From Every Angle

Early morning visit to admire the stunning sunrise at Sun Moon Lake (subject to weather conditions).
Located in the middle of Taiwan island at 2,454 feet above sea level, Sun Moon Lake acquired its name because it comprises a round eastern section and a crescent western section, with a tiny island roughly in the middle. This largest body of fresh water in Taiwan is one of the island’s most lovely natural vistas. While boating is popular, hiking and biking allows you to get off the beaten path while exploring the tourist trail.
Cruise the lake's majestic waters on a privately chartered motorboat. We visit the famous Wenwu Temple (Literature-Warrior Temple), dedicated to Confucius, Holy Monk Shrine and Tse-En Pagoda.
