Heraklion | Spinalonga Island Excursion
A full day excursion on the sparkling sea of Mirabello Bay in east Crete.
Transfer to Elounda village and take a short cruise across the clear blue waters to the tiny island of Spinalonga. A guided tour explores the island and the 16th century Spinalonga Fort (“The Rock”, a tentative UNESCO Heritage Site) which was used by the Venetians and the Turkish Ottoman Empire, and later housed a leper colony.
