New Year Resolutions and how not to break them
New year 2016 is here, and it’s time to welcome the year with new hope and dreams. Time to make some resolutions and guidelines in our lives. We often make resolutions and end up breaking them by the end of the first month! So why not make resolutions that you can fulfill this year.
Here are some tips to help you with your new year resolutions.
- Make short-term goals. It will help you achieve the goals more easily. For example, if your resolution is to lose weight, try small goals first such as lose 5 pounds.
- Make a short list of your resolutions and keep it in your sight, so that you can take a look at them almost every day. For example, display a photo for your dream vacation location as the wallpaper screen on your phone to remind yourself to save more and spend less!
- Share your resolutions with your friends. In case you and your friend end up having same goals then it will be a quite fun for both of you to achieve the same goal. Also support from friends helps you keep on track.
- Don’t feel discouraged if you end up slipping from your goals, just buckle up and start again.
